The Brief
Following the success of the 2025 event, this private client invited Downtown Productions to pitch and deliver their 2026 edition at the Peninsula London as part of IE Week 2026.
The team developed a fully bespoke “Heaven vs Hell” concept designed to immerse 1,000 guests in a high-impact networking environment. The experience began in the pre-function space, where guests were greeted by “The Almighty” and theatrically assigned to either Heaven or Hell. They then passed through custom-built gates and tunnels into the main room, which was dramatically split down the centre with contrasting theming on each side.
Downtown Productions delivered full-scale creative production, including bespoke entrance archways, immersive tunnels, custom-designed bars, a main stage, and large-scale ceiling installations. The technical package incorporated sound, lighting, screens, and special effects to enhance the atmosphere.
The result was a bold, experiential event that combined theatrical storytelling with premium networking, elevating the client’s IE Week presence for a second consecutive year.
